The project was at the beginning of discovery. The team needed to understand users’ tasks and define initial workflows for discussion and validation.
Research
Understand what users needed to do
I interviewed users to identify opportunities and understand their needs. I brought the findings into discussions about the journey, product goals, and the requirements of the teams involved.
Design
Make the workflows concrete enough to discuss
I prototyped screens in Figma, following usability heuristics and the existing design system. I joined stakeholder meetings to refine requirements and priorities. I used AI to draft microcopy and support communication across teams, reviewing its output in the project context. I developed more than 20 workflows across five features, with annotations that helped the team understand the rules and system states.
Outcome
Clearer ground for the next decisions
A before-and-after time comparison indicated approximately 10 hours of manual work saved per employee each week. The annotations and prototypes also helped teams align on technical and business requirements.
